Events > Roar of the Moonlight (MirageGaogamon BM)

The Roar of the Moonlight event has 5 stages with varying difficulties. By completing these floors you can earn ranking points. Every time you reach a new reward milestone you will receive a reward in your inbox. Scroll to the rewards section to see when you will receive a reward.

There are also chips available for this event that increase the amount points you receive and status boosting chips which can be earned in the previous event. You can calculate the amount of points you earn per round with Growlmon's point calculator. There are also Digimon that receive stat boosts (Ravemon and Ravemon BM) but they are barely worth using over other strong darkness hitters.

The posterboy of this event is MirageGaogamon BM

Strategy

Lower Floors

The first 2 floors (Easy and Normal) are very easy and can be beaten with a team of MEGAs or Ultimates. Hard is still easy to clear with a group of MEGA Digimon that are level 70. Expert however, requires a good team set-up.

While most MEGA Digimon are suitable to complete the Hard mode of this event, Digimon like the ones as recommended for expert will get the job done fast.

Expert

During this event, there is no pressure to finish a round quickly. This makes for a very easy Expert difficulty, especially with darkness or nature skill Digimon.

Recommended Set Up
  • AOE (+3 or higher)
  • Single Target (+3 or higher)
  • Single Target/AOE (+3 or higher)

Intense

Intense let's you face a MirageGaogamon and MirageGaogamon BM. These are not all that strong and are easily taken down with strong darkness hitters. What makes this stage even easier is that BM frequently misses his 70% accuracy skill as well. This stage may be even easier than Expert with the right Digimon.

Recommended Set Up
  • Single Target (+3 at least neutral hitting)
  • Single Target (+3 or higher at least neutral hitting)
  • Single Target (+3 or higher at least neutral hitting)
Recommended Digimon For Expert / Intense
Single Target

Belphemon RM - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

Belpheboy RM is a PVE god that shines in events where he hits for weakness. This is one of those events. Best pick by far.

Beelzemon - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

Wrecks minions and all bosses in the event, great pick.

VenomMyotismon - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

The final boss resists poison but the regular MirageGaogamon is weak to it. VenomMyotismon is still a great pick. Also usable on Expert.

BlackWarGreymon - Single Target
Type: Blazing Move: Darkness

With a chip, BlackWarGreymon is not a bad pick would you not have any of the other Digimon listed here.

Dynasmon - Single Target
Type: Mirage Move: Null

Can deal with any Digimon but you probably want to have it light resist trained.

Leopardmon - Single Target
Type: Bright Move: Null

Resists the light skills of the Digimon you will face while dishing out good neutral damage and lowering defenses.

Other Single Target picks (Vs. Expert)

Other Single Target picks (Vs. Intense)

AOE

LordKnightmon - AOE (EXPERT ONLY)
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

LordKnightmon is extremely strong on the Expert difficulty. With a high chip you may consider taking it into Intense as well.
