Events > Swift Blue Wolf (MirageGaogamon)

The Swift Blue Wolf event has 5 stages with varying difficulties. By completing these floors you can earn exchange bytes. These can be turned in for MirageGaogamon data fragments and other rewards. There is a special condition to get even more rewards in the Expert and Intense difficulties which is to beat the stage within 5 rounds. Doing this will drop another few bytes which can be enhanced with chips and another 5 bytes will be sent to your inbox every time you beat a stage while meeting the condition.

There are also chips available for this event that increase the amount of bytes you receive and your Digimon's offensive stats. A, B and C give 4, 2 and 1 extra bytes per fight respectively and boost ATK/SATK by 3, 2 and 1.5 respectively. . A Digimon can only have 1 event chip installed. The way they increase drops is as following:

(combined chip bonus + 1) * Golden Boxes Dropped = Bytes Received

Among the rewards are important chips which will increase your stats in the next event where we will likely farm for MirageGaogamon BM.

Strategy

Lower Floors

The first 2 floors (Easy and Normal) are very easy and can be beaten with a team of MEGAs or Ultimates. Hard is still easy to clear with a group of MEGA Digimon that are level 70. Expert however, requires a good team set-up.

While most MEGA Digimon are suitable to complete the Hard mode of this event, Digimon like the ones as recommended for expert will get the job done fast.

Expert

While Expert is easily cleared, you want to do it within the 5 rounds given to clear the special condition. Unless you have a chipped LordKnightmon or AOE dark hitter, this may prove to be quite difficult just because you will have to beat 3 waves within the 5 rounds. We recommend going for the Intense stage instead but would you really want to beat this within the limitations of the special challenge the following set ups are recommended:

Recommended Set Up
  • AOE (+4 Darkness/Nature move)
  • Single Target (+4 Darkness move)
  • Single Target/AOE (+4 Darkness move)

Intense

Intense is a fairly easy stage with the right Digimon. The MachGaogamon have no special resistances so bringing at least one Digimon to clear them with electric or fire skills would help you beat the stage within the 5 rounds to get the special rewards. On the other hand, a chipped Belphemon RM or Beelzemon makes quick work of anything in the Intense stage as well. We recommend a team with +4 to make sure you can clear it within 5 rounds.

Recommended Set Up
  • Single Target (+4 Darkness Move)
  • Single Target (+4 Darkness/Fire/Electric move)
  • Single Target/AOE (+4 Fire/Electric move)
Recommended Digimon For Expert / Intense
Single Target

Belphemon RM - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

Belphemon RM one-shots every minion Digimon and does insane damage on the boss. On Intense it may need a higher chip to one shot a MachGaogamon but it is the best Digimon to clear the boss with in the game.

Beelzemon - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

Slice through waves, wrecks the boss and does high damage on MachGaogamons in Intense. Overall great Digimon.

VenomMyotismon - Single Target
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

With the boss being weak to poison and neutral to darkness skills on Intense, VenomMyotismon is a great pick. Also usable on Expert.

BlackWarGreymon - Single Target
Type: Blazing Move: Darkness

With a chip, BlackWarGreymon is not a bad pick would you not have any of the other Digimon listed here.

Dynasmon - Single Target (INTENSE ONLY)
Type: Mirage Move: Null

Only good for the Intense stage to deal with the boss if you don't have either Belphemon or Beelzemon. Not recommended for Expert.

Gankoomon - Single Target (INTENSE ONLY)
Type: Blazing Move: Fire

Gankoomon can deal with MachGaogamon easily. Otherwise not recommended.

Other Single Target picks (Vs. Expert)

Other Single Target picks (Vs. Intense)

AOE

LordKnightmon - AOE (EXPERT ONLY)
Type: Abyss Move: Darkness

LordKnightmon is extremely strong on the Expert difficulty. With a high chip you may consider taking it into Intense as well.

ShineGreymon BM - AOE (INTENSE ONLY)
Type: Blazing Move: Fire

ShineGreymon BM can easily burst down the MachGaogamon in the Intense stage.

Other AOE picks (Vs. Expert)

Must have event chip to even be considerable.

Other AOE picks (Vs. Intense)
*
Must have B+ event chip to even be considerable.
